Homestyle sewing ... its HUGE

I missed the first issue of Homestyle Sewing (if anyone has one I would LOVE it) but I managed to buy the second and I got to work straight away. This has turned out MUCH bigger than I expected, its supposed to be filled with rice to make a doorstop, but I think it would be WAY too heavy, so I will fill the bottom with rice and soft stuff the top.

What a magical start to the day ... Sainsburys sold Sallys favourite gluten free bread so we had poached eggs on toast for brunch, and SyFy just happened to be broadcasting my FAVOURITE episode of Buffy ...

Learn Something New ... day 7

Its not me that is gluten-intolerant but my best friend. Couple that with being mostly meat-free and what is there left to eat on a restaurant menu? We were offered chicken liver pate (erm, isnt that meat) or leek soup (made with chicken stock) or ham salad (ham = pig = meat).
